Live inventory, one shared history
Built for the work that happens between the shelf and the purchasing desk.
Scan with the phone or tablet your team already carries.
Run blind counts and review only the exceptions.
Turn confirmed shortages into supplier-ready order lists.
Trace every movement to a person, location, and time.

Now on iPhone, iPad, and Android

Put the scanner in every pocket.

Point a phone at the code already on the box. What gets scanned in the aisle is on the web dashboard before anyone walks back to a desk.

One product, fitted to the operation

A consistent system.
The right working language.

Separate industry themes would make the product harder to learn and harder to trust. OnHandly keeps one interface everywhere, then adapts vocabulary, setup guidance, and workflow emphasis to the team using it.

Easy to begin. Easy to outgrow.

Photos and folders help teams start, but reporting, purchasing context, and operational controls often become the next pain point.

ERP & MRP SUITES

Powerful when the business needs the burden.

Manufacturing, accounting, and global logistics warrant complexity. A parts-driven team should not need that implementation to trust a shelf count.

A complete barcode system

Use the label already there.
Print a new one only when needed.

Starting inventory should not require a relabeling project. Attach the UPC, EAN, Code 39, Code 128, ITF, or QR code already on the item. For unmarked parts, generate a permanent OnHandly code and print it at the size your shelf, bin, case, or carton requires.

  1. 01Attach onceLink the manufacturer or supplier code to the item from the web catalog.
  2. 02Print only when neededCreate clean internal labels for bulk parts, bins, shelves, cases, and cartons.
  3. 03Scan everywhereThe same code works for receiving, usage, transfers, and cycle counts—on the mobile apps, and on the web with any USB or Bluetooth handheld scanner.

Part-number continuity

Change the part number.
Keep the history.

Manufacturers and suppliers replace part numbers, but the older stock does not disappear. OnHandly connects those SKUs in a replacement chain without merging their records.

  • See combined availabilityReplenishment considers the old and current part numbers together at each location.
  • Keep every quantity separateEach SKU retains its own on-hand balance, barcode, cost, location, and movement history.
  • Order the current numberWhen the family is short, the order list points purchasing to the newest replacement.

Daily inventory control

Three daily workflows.
One dependable record.

Inventory becomes trustworthy when teams record the moments that change it. OnHandly connects receiving, usage, transfers, counts, and replenishment in one accountable history.

01 / Move stock

Record it where it happens.

Receive a case, use a part, or transfer stock between a warehouse and a van without waiting to get back to a computer.

  • Scan UPC, EAN, or your own labels
  • Require a reason for adjustments
  • See who moved what, where, and when

02 / Verify stock

Count without coaching the answer.

Assign a location, hide the expected quantity, and send only real discrepancies to review. Work can continue while the count is open.

  • Blind counts remove expectation bias
  • Resume a count across sessions
  • Approve variances before stock changes

03 / Reorder stock

Give purchasing the whole answer.

A shortage is only useful when it says how much to buy and where to get it. Minimums, targets, pack sizes, supplier SKUs, costs, and links stay with the item.

  • Suggested quantity respects target and pack size
  • Group shortages by normal supplier
  • Estimate order spend before checkout

Two places, one inventory

The system runs in the browser.
The scanner rides in your pocket.

OnHandly is a web application first: the catalog, suppliers, costs, purchase orders, labels, and reporting all live where you have a keyboard and a real screen. The mobile app exists to do the one thing a desk cannot—capture what physically moved, at the shelf, in the van, on the job.

On the web

Build the catalog, set minimums and targets, manage suppliers and costs, review counts, raise purchase orders, print labels, and see what the operation is worth.

  • Full feature set, no app required
  • Works on any modern browser
  • Import from Excel or CSV

On the floor

Point the camera at the code already on the box. Receive a delivery, record a part used, transfer stock to a truck, or work through a blind count without walking back to a computer.

  • Scans UPC, EAN, Code 128, and QR
  • Phone or tablet, no scanner hardware
  • Signs in with the same account

Function first

A trustworthy count needs
a trustworthy foundation.

01

Every change is a movement

On-hand quantity is calculated from accountable receipts, usage, transfers, and approved adjustments—not silent edits.

02

Organizations stay isolated

Membership checks and database policies keep each customer's items, costs, and history inside its own workspace.

03

Counting survives real work

Receipts and usage recorded during an open count remain visible, so reviewers can separate timing from an actual variance.

04

Billing stays with Stripe

Subscription payment details are handled through Stripe's hosted checkout rather than stored inside OnHandly.

Questions before the first scan

Start informed.

Still deciding whether it fits? Talk to a person at OnHandly.

Do I need dedicated barcode scanners?+

No, but they work if you have them. The OnHandly app turns the phone or tablet your team already carries into the scanner. On the web, any USB or Bluetooth handheld scanner works with no setup or drivers—plug it in and scan into receiving, usage, transfers, and cycle counts. Existing UPC and EAN codes work either way, and OnHandly can create labels for parts without a usable barcode.

What happens when a part number is replaced?+

Link the older SKU to its current replacement. OnHandly shows combined availability for replenishment while preserving separate quantities, locations, barcodes, costs, and movement history for every part number.

Can several people share one inventory?+

Yes. Team and Pro workspaces let each member use their own account while sharing the same items, locations, counts, and movement history.

Can I see shortages from a computer?+

Yes. The web dashboard is designed for review and purchasing: shortages, suppliers, suggested order quantities, estimated spend, count status, and inventory value.

When does the trial start?+

Your 30 days begin when you create your first organization workspace. No payment card is required. The trial runs on 2 users, 2 locations, 100 active items, 500 movements, 3 completed counts, and 50 printed labels—enough to load your own parts and finish a real count before deciding.

What happens after the trial?+

Your workspace remains available to review, but recording new inventory activity requires a paid plan. Choose the tier based on people, locations, and catalog size.
